Exeter Relatives′ Forum is a self-help group in the Exeter area that comprises Carers with years of experience and understanding of the issues affecting those who care for and about people with mental health conditions such as depression, manic depression, schizophrenia.

The group is independent from statutory services' support and advice, and offers a friendly and confidential ear for new and old Carers/friends/relatives and for those who think someone they care about may have a mental health condition. The group also campaigns and lobbies on relevant mental health issues based on its experience of national and local policies and services.

If you care for someone over 18 for a "regular and substantial amount of time" you can go here to learn about your statutory right to have a Carers' Assessment, to help access the support you need to continue caring.
